We were delighted to welcome Bénédicte de Valicourt, journalist for Mag'Centre, during a press trip organised by the Grand Figeac Tourist Office.
Over several days, she met the people who bring our region to life and explored everything that makes the Lot Valley such a special destination.

Her feature, "Three Days Along the Lot River, from Figeac to Cajarc", is much more than a travel itinerary.
It takes readers on a journey through the area's rich heritage, stunning landscapes and the personalities who have shaped its history, including Jean-François Champollion, Françoise Sagan and Coluche. The article also highlights the shopkeepers, restaurateurs, craftspeople and passionate locals who contribute every day to the unique character of the Lot Valley.
